Volleyball Recap: Luella Takes a Loss

Luella was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mt. Zion Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 two weeks ago.

Luella's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Mt. Zion, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Luella will head out to take on Griffin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mt. Zion, they will venture away from home to challenge Lovejoy at 5:30 p.m. on September 4.
