Basketball Recap: Prattville Takes a Loss

Prattville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 78-37 loss at the hands of the Hillcrest Patriots. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-19.

When it comes to explaining why Prattville lost, don't look at Cameron Lewis. Despite the final result, he posted 21 points.

Prattville's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Hillcrest, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-6.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Prattville Lions challenge the Tuscaloosa County Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Prattville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.2 points per game this season. As for Hillcrest, they will take on Thompson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hillcrest knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Thompson likes a good challenge.
