Baseball Recap: Carson Comes Up Short

Carson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They came up short against the Galena Grizzlies, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-3 on April 4th.

Carson's loss dropped their record down to 4-25. As for Galena, their win bumped their record up to 14-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Carson will face off against Bishop Manogue at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Miners will roll in looking for their 19th straight victory, something the Senators surely won't give up without a fight. As for Galena, they will challenge North Valleys at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.59 runs per game on average), something the Grizzlies will no doubt try to take advantage of.
