Basketball Recap: JW North Comes Up Short

JW North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 63-62 heartbreaker at the hands of the Perris Panthers.

JW North's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Perris, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

Coming up, JW North will be home for the holidays to greet Norte Vista at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Huskies will need to watch out since the Braves have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Perris will take on Victor Valley in a holiday battle at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers' defense better be ready for this one: the Jackrabbits have averaged an impressive 53.6 points per game this season.
