Pieper is a perfect 5-0 against Veterans Memorial since February of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Pieper Warriors will face off against the Veterans Memorial Patriots at 7:15 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Pieper has 12 straight victories, Veterans Memorial has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Pieper's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against Tivy by a score of 2-0. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 77th, while the Antlers are ranked 406th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Veterans Memorial came up short against Boerne on Monday, falling 7-1. The Patriots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Fausto Castro, who's now up to nine this season.

Pieper pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those six contests. As for Veterans Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 8-12.

Everything went Pieper's way against Veterans Memorial in their previous matchup back in January, as Pieper made off with a 6-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pieper since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
