Baseball Game Preview: Jordan Panthers vs. Compton Tarbabes

Jordan is a perfect 10-0 against Compton since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Panthers will venture away from home to take on the Tarbabes at 4:00 p.m. Jordan will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Jordan played against Centennial on Wednesday and won via forfeit.

Compton's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They came out on top against Dominguez by a score of 4-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tarbabes.

Not much got past Andrew Ruiz, who gave up just two hits to keep Dominguez off the board.

On the hitting side, Compton secured the victory behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Eric Vera, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. That's the most stolen bases Vera has posted since back in March.

Compton's win bumped their record up to 8-9-1. As for Jordan, the victory got them back to even at 10-10-1.

Jordan took their win against Compton in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
