Weehawken and Secaucus are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Weehawken Indians will take on the Secaucus Patriots on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Tuesday, Weehawken was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 60-55 to Waldwick. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Indians came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 85th, while the Warriors are ranked 276th).

Secaucus hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They strolled past Eastern Christian with points to spare two weeks ago, taking the game 58-42.

Secaucus' win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Weehawken, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.

Everything went Weehawken's way against Secaucus in their previous meeting back in January, as Weehawken made off with a 70-47 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Weehawken since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
