Volleyball Recap: Chandler Wolves vs. Valley Vista Monsoon
Chandler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Valley Vista Monsoon. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2021.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19.
Chandler's defeat dropped their record down to 1-27-1. As for Valley Vista, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-12.
Chandler wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Perry on the 15th. After both having extra time off, Valley Vista and Mountain Ridge will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
