Football Recap: Morrison Takes a Loss

Morrison and Woodland pushed the score to 50-20 the last time they played Woodland, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Wildcats fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 14-12. The Wildcats have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

The critical scores for Woodland came from Lucky Heath and Jaston Terry.

Morrison's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Woodland, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morrison will head out to face off against Regent Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Woodland, they will venture away from home to take on Pawhuska at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will need to watch out since the Huskies have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
