Baker County had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 50-30 to the David Emanuel Academy Eagles. The Bears were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-8.

When it comes to explaining why Baker County lost, don't look at Taylor Sanders. Despite the final result, he rushed for 142 yards and one TD while picking up 7.9 yards per carry, and also threw for 197 yards and three touchdowns. Ronnie Williams was in the mix too, providing the Bears with two scores.
