Soccer Recap: Evangelical Christian Comes Up Short

If Evangelical Christian was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of First Assembly Christian last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Evangelical Christian Eagles fell 2-0 to the Houston Mustangs on Thursday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Evangelical Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Houston, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Evangelical Christian will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bartlett at 7:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for Houston, they will square off against Rossview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Houston has yet to allow a single goal through four games this season, a streak Rossview will look to end.
