Basketball Recap: Zaire Robinson Key Part of Team Effort in Eagles Win

Robeson Business Tech had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They enjoyed a cozy 76-62 victory over McKee Vo-Tech/Staten Island Tech on Saturday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Robeson Business Tech to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zaire Robinson, who posted 16 points along with eight steals and seven assists. Bryce Hall was another key player, putting up 15 points and five steals.

Looking ahead, Robeson Business Tech will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Queens Teaching at 5:00 p.m. As for McKee Vo-Tech/Staten Island Tech, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Norman Thomas at 12:00 p.m. on January 24, 2026.
