Soccer Recap: Pleasant Takes a Loss

Pleasant came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Ontario Warriors, falling 7-2. The loss continues a trend for Pleasant in their meetings with Ontario: they've now lost nine in a row.

Jayden Silva wasn't going to let Ontario walk away unscathed as he scored both of Pleasant's goals, bringing his season total up to two goals.

Pleasant's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for Ontario, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-5 record this season.

Pleasant will host Northeastern at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ontario, they will head out to challenge Vermilion at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ontario will be up against Vermilion's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.89 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
