Basketball Recap: Takini Comes Up Short

Takini was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Edgemont Moguls and fell 60-24.

Tavian Urban continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Edgemont, dropping a double-double with 17 points and 14 boards. Urban is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Hadley Hollenbeck, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds.

Takini's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Edgemont, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Takini didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 70-21 defeat against McIntosh on the 24th. As for Edgemont, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 61-24 loss against Harding County on the 21st.
