Preview: Hubbard Jaguars vs. Dawson Bulldogs
The Hubbard Jaguars will face off against the Dawson Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither Hubbard nor Dawson posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.
Last Thursday, Hubbard was beaten by Madison 53-20. Hubbard has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Dawson unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They had to suffer through a rough 65-18 loss at the hands of Frost. Dawson was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-10.
Hubbard's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Dawson, their loss dropped their record down to 5-1.
Hubbard beat Dawson 32-20 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hubbard since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
