Baseball Recap: Jefferson City Snaps 13-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

If Jefferson City was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Marshall on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Jays fell just short of the Camdenton Lakers by a score of 5-4 on Friday. The Jays were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lakers earlier this season, when they won 12-3.

Jefferson City's loss ended a 13-game streak of away wins and brought them to 25-6. As for Camdenton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-19.

Jefferson City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Camdenton, they will square off against Union at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
