Basketball Recap: Northside Wins Going Away Against Lakeside

The Northside Eagles strolled past the Lakeside Panthers with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 71-52.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Charlie Bower, who went 9-for-14 on his way to 19 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Cowart, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten boards.

The win got Northside back to even at 1-1. As for Lakeside, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Northside will be playing at home against Peach County at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lakeside, they will be taking part in a tournament against Laney at 8:40 p.m. on Saturday.
