Volleyball Recap: Campbell County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Campbell County lost against South back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Camels fell 3-1 to the Bison.

While Campbell County ultimately came up short, they really made South work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 26-24, 11-25, 25-14.

Addyson Layten paced Campbell County's offense, picking up eight kills. Layten got some help from Kaice Riedesel and her 17 assists. Layten was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Campbell County has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season. As for South, they moved to 6-17 with that victory, which also ended their five-match losing streak.

Campbell County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Laramie on the 18th. As for South, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Sheridan on the 18th.
