Basketball Recap: Butler Takes a Loss

Butler was the 61-31 winner over Versailles when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Butler Bears took a 69-50 bruising from the Versailles Tigers on Friday. The Bears just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Butler's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Versailles, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Butler has already played their next match (against Miller), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Versailles Tigers take on the Warsaw Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
