The Eastside College Prep Panthers will face off against the East Palo Alto Academy Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Eastside College Prep is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight matches on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Castilleja.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-10, 25-9.

Meanwhile, East Palo Alto Academy suffered their biggest defeat since October 23, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against Pescadero, falling 3-0. Bulldogs fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Vikings since Thursday.

East Palo Alto Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-22, 25-13.

East Palo Alto Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Eastside College Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.
