Volleyball Recap: Cedar Extends Winning Streak to Three

Cedar proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Dixie Flyers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Reds have posted since September 18th.

Cedar wouldn't go down easily and took Dixie into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-18, 25-18, 19-25, 15-12.

The victory (which was Cedar's third in a row) raised their record to 14-13. As for Dixie, their defeat ended a seven-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-10.

Coming up, Cedar will challenge Canyon View at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dixie, they will head out on the road to square off against Pine View at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
