Basketball Recap: Stockton Christian Sets Scoring Season-High Against Don Pedro

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stockton Christian). They breezed by the Don Pedro Panthers to the tune of 81-2 on Friday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 49-2.

Stockton Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jayden Chamblee led the charge by putting up 19 points. Chamblee's evening made it 15 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Joshua Jordan Henderson was another key player, posting 19 points.

Stockton Christian now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Don Pedro, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Stockton Christian will square off against Elliot Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Elliot Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.5 points per game this season. As for Don Pedro, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Don Pedro Panthers face off against the Vanguard College Prep Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
