Basketball Recap: Lanham Christian Gets the Win

While Lanham Christian's victory against King's Christian Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lions skirted past the Eagles 59-56. The win continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won eight in a row.

Lanham Christian can attribute much of their success to Brandon Williams, who posted 19 points. Those 19 points gave Williams a new career-high. Jaxson Mendy was another key player, putting up 12 points.

The victory got Lanham Christian back to even at 1-1. As for King's Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
