Soccer Recap: Cedar Crest Takes a Loss

Cedar Crest entered their game against Warwick on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Falcons fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Cedar Crest can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 101st, while Warwick are ranked 30th).

Cedar Crest's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Warwick, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Cedar Crest will square off against rival Penn Manor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Warwick is set to challenge their familiar foe Manheim Township at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
