Softball Game Preview: Plainview Hornets vs. Fairview Panthers

The Plainview Hornets will take on the Fairview Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Plainview and St. Joseph's - Plaucheville had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. Plainview came up short against St. Joseph's - Plaucheville on Tuesday, falling 19-5. The defeat continues a trend for the Hornets in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Fairview started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Hicks. They lost 13-7 to the Pirates on Thursday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Plainview's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Fairview, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
