Volleyball Game Preview: JC Bermudez Doral Thunder vs. Edison Red Raiders

The JC Bermudez Doral Thunder will head out to challenge the Edison Red Raiders at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

JC Bermudez Doral is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Reagan just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Bison by a score of 3-2.

JC Bermudez Doral took Reagan into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 21-25, 22-25, 25-16, 17-15.

Meanwhile, Edison lost 3-0 to North Miami on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Red Raiders in their meetings with the Pioneers: they've now lost four in a row.

While Edison was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into North Miami's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-15, 25-16.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for JC Bermudez Doral, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
