Volleyball Recap: Nipomo Comes Up Short

Nipomo saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Pasadena Tigers.

Naomi Pankratz paced Nipomo's offense, picking up six kills. Pankratz got some help from Tasi Maumausolo Matagi and her eight assists.

Nipomo's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for South Pasadena, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Nipomo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Pioneer Valley on the 26th. As for South Pasadena, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Arcadia on the 26th.
