Basketball Recap: Goodwell Takes a Loss

Goodwell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 64-42 to the Panhandle Christian Home Educators Warriors.

Panhandle Christian Home Educators' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Matthew Holliman, who dropped a triple-double on 15 points, 19 rebounds, and ten steals. The dominant performance gave Holliman a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Brighton Ball, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds.

Goodwell's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10-1. As for Panhandle Christian Home Educators, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 17-7 record.

Goodwell has already played their next game, a 58-42 loss against Beaver on the 28th. Panhandle Christian Home Educators does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
