Baseball Recap: Neptune Falls to Red Bank Regional in First Game of Season

Neptune kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Red Bank Regional Bucs, falling 11-1. The Scarlet Fliers have struggled against the Bucs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Neptune saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Morgan, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

While Neptune had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
