Basketball Recap: Mynderse Academy Takes a Loss

Mynderse Academy lost against Newark back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mynderse Academy Blue Devils had to suffer through a 68-31 loss at the hands of the Newark Reds. The Blue Devils' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Mynderse Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Newark, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mynderse Academy will venture away from home to square off against North Rose-Wolcott at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Mynderse Academy is facing North Rose-Wolcott at the right time seeing as North Rose-Wolcott is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Newark, they will head out on the road to take on Eastridge at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
