Aptos came tearing into Tuesday's match with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past the Soquel Knights with points to spare, taking the game 56-40. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 46-30 two weeks ago.

When it comes to explaining why Soquel lost, don't look at Nico Ramirez. Despite the final result, he posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Peyton Bortz, who had seven points.

Aptos' victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-4.
