Volleyball Game Preview: Oconomowoc Raccoons vs. Kettle Moraine Lasers

After both having extra time off, the Oconomowoc Raccoons and the Kettle Moraine Lasers will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Thursday, Oconomowoc came up short against Dominican and fell 3-1. The Raccoons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Dominican scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 23-25, 25-18, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Kettle Moraine faced Waukesha West in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Lasers came up short against the Wolverines, falling 3-0. The Lasers haven't had much luck with the Wolverines recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Oconomowoc's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Kettle Moraine, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.
