Volleyball Recap: Pacific Ridge Firebirds vs. Sage Creek Bobcats
Pacific Ridge lost against Sage Creek back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Pacific Ridge took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sage Creek.
The final score came out to 25-15, 15-25, 25-20, 25-16.
Safin Zaslansky paced Pacific Ridge's offense, picking up 15 kills. Zaslansky got some help from Jake Streitman and his 32 assists. Camden Martin controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Sage Creek can attribute much of their success to Brandon Jemison, who had ten digs and two aces. That's the most digs Jemison has posted over his last six games.
Pacific Ridge dropped their record down to 10-9 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Sage Creek, their record is now 12-13.
Pacific Ridge has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Classical Academy on the 26th. As for Sage Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against San Marcos on the 26th.
