Softball Recap: Palo Verde Extends Road Winning Streak to Six

Palo Verde put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Silverado Skyhawks with a sharp 14-3 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Palo Verde got a massive performance out of Taylor Johns, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Ava Cruz was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Palo Verde lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Palo Verde's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for Silverado, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palo Verde will welcome Arbor View at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Arbor View will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Palo Verde surely won't give up without a fight. Silverado will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bonanza at 3:30 p.m. on March 24th.
