Soccer Recap: Ashley Hall Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Thursday. Ashley Hall lost 10-0 to Pinewood Prep. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Pinewood Prep this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in March.

This is the second loss in a row for Ashley Hall and nudges their season record down to 4-6. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 13-1 Porter-Gaud (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 84.8% over those games). As for Pinewood Prep, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Ashley Hall is set to square off against their familiar foe Porter-Gaud at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pinewood Prep will take on rival First Baptist School at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
