Football Recap: Woodlawn-Shreveport Takes a Loss

Woodlawn-Shreveport lost against Loyola College Prep back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Knights took a blow against the Flyers, falling 62-14. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-14.

Woodlawn-Shreveport is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5. As for Loyola College Prep, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Alvis Gobert and Braelyn Latin. Meanwhile, Loyola College Prep will take on rival Booker T. Washington-Shreveport at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Bryce Restovich and Devion Stewart.
