King has gone 8-2 against Corona recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Wolves will host the Panthers at 3:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

King is headed into the game having just suffered their closest defeat since May 18, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Roosevelt by a score of 6-4. Wolves fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Mustangs since on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Corona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 16-1 to Norco. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Corona's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for King, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10-1.
