Volleyball Game Preview: Pigeon Forge Tigers vs. Bearden Bulldogs

Pigeon Forge hasn't had much luck against Bearden recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Tigers will square off against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Bearden took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Pigeon Forge, who comes in off a win.

Bearden will be up against a hot Pigeon Forge team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Tigers put the hurt on Carter with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Bearden came up short against Anderson County on Monday and fell 2-0.

While Bearden had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18.

Bearden's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Pigeon Forge, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3.

Pigeon Forge suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Bearden in their previous matchup back in August of 2024. Thankfully for the Tigers, Mya Thurston (who had five aces and three digs) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
