Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Maplesville). They took their contest on Monday with ease, bagging a 71-26 victory over the Verbena Red Devils. Maplesville has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 20 points or more this season.

Maplesville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chris Simon, who posted 17 points. The matchup was Simon's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Devon Nix, who had 11 points and five assists.

Several Red Devils players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Caleb Short, who put up four points. Short is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 13 games he's played. Kamari Ceasar was another key player, putting up six points and five boards.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Maplesville, bringing their record for this year to 10-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.5 points per game. As for Verbena, they dropped their record down to 4-11 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
