Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Charleston). They walked away with a 78-65 win over the Rantoul Eagles on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Luke Bonnstetter was his usual excellent self, going 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 27 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Tyler Oakley was another key player, going 9 of 20 on his way to 23 points and five assists.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Charleston was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The victory made it two in a row for Charleston and bumps their season record up to 9-13. As for Rantoul, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.

Charleston has already played their next matchup, a 60-56 win against Taylorville on the 31st. As for Rantoul, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-54 loss against Illinois Valley Central on the 31st.
