NCHSAA championship games in all four classifications scheduled for March 6.
Playoff time has arrived for North Carolina high school basketball. Action in all four NCHSAA classifications gets underway this week with championship games scheduled for March 6 at Wheatmore High School in Trinity and Providence Grove High School in Franklinville.
Defending champions include North Mecklenburg and Lumberton in 4A, Freedom and Westover in 3A, Shelby and Farmville Central in 2A and Winston-Salem Prep and Henderson Collegiate in 1A. State championship games in 2020 were canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and co-champions were declared.
