While Payette put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Orofino. The Payette Pirates claimed a resounding 55-0 win over the Orofino Maniacs on the road. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Pirates had established a 48 point advantage.
Darrien Pecunia had a dynamite game for Payette, rushing for 142 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, while also throwing for 99 yards and a touchdown. Pecunia also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making five total tackles and defending two passes. Joshua Rodriguez got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
