Football Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kyle Fulton Jr and Joseph Mesa Lead Paraclete to Victory + How To Watch

Paraclete won the last time they faced Village Christian and things went their way on Friday too. The Spirits came out on top against the Crusaders by a score of 21-14. Given the Spirits' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 142nd, while the Crusaders are ranked 358th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Paraclete was led to victory by Joseph Mesa and Kyle Fulton Jr. Mesa threw for 206 yards and two touchdowns, while Fulton Jr rushed for 133 yards and one TD. With that strong performance, Fulton Jr is now averaging an impressive 105.4 rushing yards per game.

Paraclete's run defense was locked in: Village Christian could only muster 2.5 yards per carry. The team can thank Darren Coleman for the heroic effort on defense: he. Paraclete's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 5.3.

Paraclete didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Adrian Jones and Jaivyn Nelson. Coleman was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making nine total tackles (2.0 for loss).
