Basketball Recap: Forest Grove Comes Up Short

Forest Grove lost against Cleveland back in December of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The match between the Forest Grove Vikings and the Cleveland Warriors didn't end well, with the Forest Grove Vikings falling 60-46. The Vikings just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 2-4. As for Cleveland, they moved to 2-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forest Grove will be taking part in a tournament against Caldera at 7:00 p.m. on December 27th. Caldera knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Forest Grove likes a good challenge. As for Cleveland, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Sunset at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
