Volleyball Recap: Omaha Christian Comes Up Short

Omaha Christian lost against Weeping Water back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Guardians fell 2-0 to the Indians.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18.

Ruby Colling paced Omaha Christian's offense, picking up six kills. Colling got some help from Iahna Hendrick and her seven assists.

Leading Weeping Water to victory were Ella Huskey and Jaelis Brito- Diaz. Huskey had 14 digs and two aces, while Brito- Diaz had 14 digs. That's the most aces Huskey has posted over her last three contests.

Omaha Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Weeping Water, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-19.

Omaha Christian has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Heartland Christian on the 6th. As for Weeping Water, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Palmyra on the 7th.
