Basketball Game Preview: Sunapee Lakers vs. Epping Blue Devils

Sunapee is on a 12-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, Epping a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Sunapee Lakers will welcome the Epping Blue Devils at 6:30 p.m. Sunapee knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Epping likes a good challenge.

Having struggled with 16 defeats in a row dating back to last season, Sunapee turned things around against Mount Royal Academy on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Knights 72-45. The Lakers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Epping came up short against Farmington on Tuesday, falling 60-37.

Epping's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Sunapee, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-14.
