It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Downey can now relate to. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Wednesday and fell 77-76 to the Norte Vista Braves. The Vikings' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Downey still got an impressive performance from Christopher Medina, who went 10-for-13 en route to 29 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Joel Rodriguez, who shot 44% from the field on his way to 19 points and five assists.

Downey's loss dropped their record down to 20-9. As for Norte Vista, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-13.

Downey does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Norte Vista, they will take on Moorpark at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Braves will be up against the Musketeers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 57.55 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
