Softball Recap: Clinton Central Comes Up Short

Clinton Central was the 15-5 winner over North Montgomery when they last played one another back in April of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell 9-5 to the Chargin' Chargers on Monday.

Addi Mounts was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Clinton Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for North Montgomery, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Clinton Central has already played their next game, a 27-11 loss against West Lafayette on the 17th. As for North Montgomery, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 15-3 defeat against Western Boone on the 15th.
