Holtville is 8-2 against Central since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Vikings will head out on the road to square off against the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for Holtville and four for Central.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Friday as neither Holtville nor Cibola made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Vikings fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 3-2.

Holtville saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Davian Ambrocio, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Meanwhile, Central lost 7-1 to Jurupa Hills on Saturday.

Holtville's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.

Holtville came out on top in a nail-biter against Central when the teams last played back in March, sneaking past 3-1. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Spartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
