Baseball Recap: Marathon Dolphins vs. Master's Academy Patriots

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Immaculata-La Salle, Marathon was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Master's Academy Patriots by a score of 5-1. The victory was some much needed relief for the Dolphins as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Gabriele Cirina made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in ten consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
